Dive into the Depths:
Embark on an extraordinary diving expedition in the South of The Maldives, where the ocean’s await. Throughout our journey, you may encounter up to 10 species of sharks, including grey reef sharks, silvertip sharks, tiger sharks, and potentially thresher sharks. The atoll’s deep lagoons, reaching depths of up to 100 meters, coupled with its dynamic currents and channels, create ideal conditions for shark sightings .
As the sun sets and our boat anchors for the evening, seize the opportunity to swim alongside the gentle giants, the whale sharks. They are known to frequent the region, offering unforgettable encounters for divers .
Beyond sharks, Suvadiva’s rich marine biodiversity includes turtles, dolphins, eagle rays, and the majestic oceanic manta rays.
What’s in Store?
On this expedition, you could spot up to 8–10 different shark species, including:
• Grey reef sharks
• Silvertip sharks
• Tiger sharks
• Whale sharks
• Thresher sharks (with a bit of luck!)
• Oceanic mantas and more
The Pelagic Route
We’ll journey through the central and southern atolls. Addu, Fuvahmulah, and Suvadiva, diving some of the region’s most vibrant and adrenaline-fueled sites. Fuvahmulah, in particular, is famous for regular sightings of tiger sharks, silvertips, and the elusive thresher shark. And yes, the itinerary includes the iconic Tiger Zoo dive.
Peak Dive Season: December to April
This is the best time of year to explore the deep south. Between Suvadiva and Addu, you’ll find optimal conditions and visibility for shark diving at its finest.
Included:
- Transfers from the airport to the boat and from the marina.
- Double/twin shared cabin accommodation.
- Guides.
- 12 liter aluminum cylinders + DIN/Int, and diving weights.
- Professional and experienced crew.
- Meals and all soft drinks on board (excluding beer, spirits, wine, espresso coffee).
- Minimum 16 dives, with additional dives possible depending on weather conditions and flight schedules.
- Bath towels are changed at least once during the trip, depending on the duration of the cruise.
- The selected sea route will take into consideration the passengers' wishes.
- Dune reserves the right to limit dives frequency due to : weather conditions, dive level and physical conditions of passengers, and no refund would be applied.
